1. Binding Registration – In-Person and Virtual Training Courses

Registration for the training is binding. A notification of participation made by phone or email is also considered a registration.

Registration can be transferred to another training course or cancelled free of charge if the cancellation is made no later than two (2) business days (Mon–Fri) before the training begins. Cancellations or transfers made after this deadline will be charged the full participation fee.

Changes related to registration must be made by calling or sending a text message to 044 973 9900 or by email to info@akkad.fi.

If a participant arrives late to the training and can no longer take part in the session, or if they discontinue training that has already begun, the full training fee will be charged.

2. Professional Qualification Entry

For some training courses, it is possible to obtain a professional qualification entry, which will be reported to Traficom. Any official fees and service charges related to the entry will be invoiced separately to the customer. Akkad Group Oy is not responsible for any inconvenience or costs caused by the time required for the entry to be registered. The customer is responsible for checking that the entry has been recorded in Traficom’s system before applying for the professional qualification.

3. Self-Paced Online Training – Registration and Cancellation Terms

By ordering self-paced online training, the purchaser agrees to pay for the training service in full. Self-paced online training has no right of cancellation once the service has been fully performed or the delivery of digital content has begun (for example, once login credentials have been provided to the customer).

In accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, there is also no right of cancellation for combined training courses that include a self-paced online training service.

4. Copyright and Training Materials

Akkad Group Oy owns the copyright or a conditional right of use to all materials used in virtual and self-paced online training, unless otherwise specifically indicated by a source reference. Copying, saving, recording, publishing, or otherwise using the training materials for any purpose other than completing the training is prohibited under copyright law.

5. Payment facilitator

Visma Pay (Visma Payments Oy, business-id FI24865594) is the payment facilitator of the online shop. Visma Payments Oy is a payment facilitator authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland. The payment process is conducted in the online service of Visma Pay. Visma Pay or Visma Payments Oy is shown as the receiver of your payment in the bank account listing and in your invoice. Paying with Visma Pay is safe. All information is exchanged through secured connections.

The trade happens between the online customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations related to the trade. For inquiries regarding products, services, or claims, please contact the online shop directly.

Payment methods

With Visma Pay you can pay your order by an internet banking account, a wallet, a payment card (credit/debit), an invoice or a partial payment. The following methods of payment are supported: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Siirto, Klarna, Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard- and Debit MasterCard payment cards.

MobilePay: You can pay with your MobilePay wallet if you have allowed online payments in the settings of the MobilePay application. Payment via MobilePay takes place directly from the payment card linked to MobilePay. If charging the payment from the linked card fails, MobilePay can not be used in the online shop.

OP Lasku: A flexible invoice payment method. OP Lasku serves all Finnish banks’ customers. Suitable for online purchases of up to 5000 € with an interest-free payment term of 45 days. The instalment option adds flexibility to purchases. Your purchases are visible in one place so you can easily keep track of them. Invoices are sent to you by email. 6. Payment Methods – Business Customers

Business customers can be invoiced for the training. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the billing information provided is correct. When paying an invoice, the reference number stated on the invoice must always be used.

A 6 € invoicing fee is charged for paper invoices. All prices are subject to the applicable value-added tax (25.5% VAT).

Training-related products (e.g. a certificate, card and/or professional qualification entry) will only be delivered or processed once the payment has been received in Akkad Group Oy’s account.

7. Training Cancellation

Akkad Group Oy will inform participants, or the contact persons they have provided, if a training course is cancelled. Akkad Group Oy reserves the right to postpone or cancel a training course no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time without any obligation to pay compensation. In such cases, the participant or customer will be offered an alternative opportunity to complete the training at a later date.

Akkad Group Oy is not responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information provided on the registration form.

If Akkad Group Oy cancels the training less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, or is otherwise unable to provide the agreed training, a 50% discount will be granted on the training fee, and the participant will have the right to attend the training at a later date to be agreed separately. Akkad Group Oy will not reimburse any other possible costs or inconvenience in addition to the training fee.

8. Successful Completion of Training and Examinations

Successful completion of the training requires compliance with the training terms and official regulations, as well as the successful completion of any required examinations and assignments.

If the participant does not pass an examination or a test included in the training, the training and examination will still be considered to have been provided, and the participation fee will not be refunded or credited in whole or in part. A failed attempt does not entitle the participant to a refund of the examination fee or training fee, a price reduction, or any other compensation.

Akkad Group Oy is not liable for any direct or indirect inconvenience, costs, or loss of earnings resulting from a failed training or examination attempt, including delays in obtaining or failure to obtain a qualification, card, or registration entry.

Any retake exam, additional training, or new participation in the training is subject to a fee, unless otherwise agreed separately in writing.

9. Fraudulent Conduct and Violations of Rules in Examinations and Training

Fraudulent conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following situations during the training and/or any related examination:

completing the training or examination on behalf of another person or together with another person
providing false or incomplete personal information
cheating, assisting another person, or receiving assistance during an examination or training
unauthorised use, copying, recording, or distribution of training or examination materials
violating the instructions, rules, or official regulations provided

If a participant engages in fraudulent conduct or violates the rules related to the training and/or examination, Akkad Group Oy has the right to immediately terminate the examination and/or training, reject the performance, and prevent the participant from receiving an approved completion.

In such situations, the examination and/or training will be considered to have been provided, and the participation fee will not be refunded or credited in whole or in part. Fraudulent conduct or violation of the rules does not entitle the participant to a retake examination, new training, or any other compensation, unless Akkad Group Oy decides otherwise in writing.

Akkad Group Oy reserves the right to report serious violations or breaches involving regulatory matters to the relevant authority where required by law or official guidance.
